Choose a bathroom shelf for your wall and your bottles

Start with wall compatibility and measurements. A matching width alone is not enough.

Before you start

Identify the wall finish, available space and the exact shelf variant. Obtain the mounting instructions for that variant before attaching anything.

  1. 01

Measure the space and your tallest bottle

Measure the usable wall width, depth and the clearance above the shelf. Allow space to lift bottles and operate pump tops. Keep door swings and shower controls clear.

  2. 02

Match the fixing system to the wall

Check the supplied hardware and the maker’s wall requirements. Adhesive, suction and drilled fixings have different requirements. Never assume a shelf uses adhesive merely because it looks wall-mounted.

  3. 03

    Verify load and wet-area suitability

Ask for the declared load limit, installation conditions and material care instructions. A drainage grid helps water drain but does not establish rust resistance or wet-area certification.

  4. 04

Choose only after the missing details are clear

Compare the exact variant, dimensions, hooks and included parts. If fixing details or load data are missing, request them before purchase or installation; consider a suitable freestanding organiser instead.

Know the limits

  • Do not drill until hidden pipes, cables, wall construction and landlord restrictions have been checked.
  • The sample product lists coated carbon steel and variant dimensions; it does not establish a verified load limit or fixing method.
  • This is a selection checklist, not an installation manual.
